Sometimes you need to do a soul search

I mean to look really deep inside

A very honest and sincere evaluation

Of where you are in your walk with Christ

I have the deepest faith in my Savior 

Together we walk arm and arm

I have the deepest faith in Christ Jesus

He is my Rock, Salvation, ever strong

To dare to look inside

To let go of your fear

To tell yourself, yes I have sinned

To never turn away in fear from Him

Do I fear to say His name

Perhaps to be ridiculed

To hear them sailor he is a crazy Christian

To be hurt by their attitude

Do you yearn to be part of the world

To be part of your worldly friends

Do you laugh at others less fortunate

Because they do not follow worldly trends

Have you given your heart and soul

I mean 100 percent

Have you said anything you want Lord

I will give you a 1000 percent

Being a Christian

Means that Jesus comes first

Above all others, 

He will always be the first

To be part of the Father

Supersedes all worldly gains

You came into this world with nothing

Look at all the treasures in heaven you have gained 

Search in your soul,

See what you have gained

In Christ Jesus, all is possible

In Christ Jesus you have been saved.
