Sustainer of the Soul

Sustainer of the Soul

There is a sadness
That you can see in people’s faces
You can tell
There is something rather sadly missing.

They no longer
Carry any hope inside
They tell you that their hearts feel heavy
They are not exactly sure why

They each can sense
that something is missing
Something just not quite right
And they feel this anger inside

Anger, at themselves
Perhaps anger at this world
And a void begins to take hold
And they ask themselves, is this all there is?

You soon come to realize
That this hunger, is not physical
But your very soul is crying out
Your spiritual body, calls out for release

This can only be nourished by the Sustainer
Your soul cries out, Abba, Abba
What you have been craving
Is not nourishment of the body
But the fulfillment of the soul

The time has come
To call upon the name of The Father
To fall on bended knee and confess
Your loneliness and confusion
To offer your soul up freely
To Him that alone can fill you're emptiness
To it's fullest that it was created to sustain
From the moment of its conception

Pray to God, our most excellent Father
Pray to our Christ Jesus our Redeemer
Our Savoir, our most Blessed Friend
Give your soul freely to Him that is our Father
For through them, our salvation is at hand .
