thank you for always being there for me.

I can remember being a child

calling out your name when I was scared

You were always there to comfort me

When I got older in my twenties

while I did not forget you

I did not call out your name

how young

how invincible

how foolish

Older, wiser I call out your name

Oh father how much I have grown

How much I have grown in my faith

you have given me so very much

To be a child of God

To call you by name, Father

I long so deep inside

My very soul cries out Father

I need you so much to be the all of my life

I pray each and every day

for my faith in you to grow

to deeply grow to love the Father, The Son

You Father have given me everything
